The Deep Lake is a jumbo steel string guitar, 16" in the lower bout. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret. This custom Deep Lake is made of Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. The soundboard of this Deep Lake is made of master grade Carpathian Spruce, and this top has an elliptical sound hole. The bridge, fingerboard, and headplate on this guitar are Madagascar Rosewood, the binding and end graft are flamed curly Koa. There are Herringbone accents on the rosette, soundboard periphery, and back strip. This guitar was made for singer-songwriter Gene Anderson of Anchorage, Alaska.
