The Madagascar Rosewood sides are bent and in the Deep Lake mold. The tail block and the Honduran Mahogany neck block are glued in place. The Deep Lake is our 16″ lower bout jumbo model, and this one is for a guitarist and songwriter in Anchorage, Alaska.
The bookmatched Madagascar back was thicknessed and glued together tonight and is in the gluing jig drying overnight. The next step will be gluing in the spruce side braces and the kerfed linings.
